After the attacks of 9/11 the United States government has tried to deflect attention from the question “Why do other nations hate us so much?” by sucking the nation into fear and promising us we can only be “safe” and “free” if we are willing to give up our Constitutional rights and freedoms.

This national “Homeland Security” program costs billions of dollars per year and leaves us no safer. As long as other nations see us actiing as an agressive, bullying world power they will continue to mistrust us and defend their interests by undermining us where they can.
